Davey’s Update October

We have been in Croatia for 3  months now! We have had a  whirlwind of events and changes  happening. We feel extremely  blessed and excited to be a part  of the ministry here! 

Chinese Church Of London 

We had a team come from the Chinese Church of London! It was a team  of 5 young adults and teens, who were here just over a week. We had a  “Mladice Carnival” which is similar to vbs. Mladice is our elementary age kids, and we had 104 kids attend! We had to divide the kids into 3  groups and do everything 3x just so we could fit everyone! The theme  was forgiveness, and the team did a great job. We did puppets, skits,  songs, lessons, crafts and games! Then we did a bunch of teen ministries  and we had over 40 teens! We took the teens one day to the river for a  special day trip. We all enjoyed it, our kids got passed around and loved  on and we got to know some of the kids better. CCIL team was a great  encouragement to us. They came in with tons of energy and we all had a  blast. The kids look forward to their visit every year and we can see why!

New Normal 

Since the CCIL team left, we feel  we are establishing a “normal”  

now. We have our language  

lessons, team meetings and kids &  adult ministries. It feels good to  

feel more settled and in a routine.  One part of our routine is going to  the park in the Roma village and  just letting Reese play while we 

practice our language with the  

kids!

Praise - Our 1-year visa got approved!!! 

▪ Praise- We have a few adults attending our bi 

weekly fellowship group! 

▪ Praise- Our team has been a huge blessing with  

everything. We knew they would help us with this  

transition, but we were not expecting them to do  

so much.  

Thank you for praying for us! It means a lot. We are all  

adjusting well. We really appreciate those of you that  

have reached out to us and encouraged us or even just  

checked in on us!
